SBCS participated in its first ever Mission Ignite Tech Wars competition in 2018. Three teams of 8th graders completed Rube Goldberg Machines over the course of 2 months. Their hard work and excitement has paved the way for future students to continue this amazing opportunity. This year we hope to continue our participation and compete in multiple events. After coordinating with Mission Ignite and observing their various competitions, we are happy to bring these STEAM projects into the classroom. We will now be able to practice these great learning opportunities throughout the school year and prepare ourselves for the years to come.
