• Admissions & Enrollment

Apply for the current school year here:

While we are still receiving online Applications for the 2020-2021 school year (https://southbuffalocs.schoolmint.net)  please note that our Lottery took place on April 8th, 2020 at 5 pm live via a webcast.  You may still apply for our waitlist and once your application is received, you will receive a confirmation email.

Any school-aged child who is entering Kindergarten through 8th grade is eligible to apply for admission into the school.  Buffalo Public Schools has a Kindergarten requirement that states a child must have been born in 2015 in order to register for the 2020-2021 school year.  For all school district residents (BPS, Lackawanna, West Seneca, etc.) the child must turn 5 by December 1, 2020, as per your home district requirement.

Please remember that students on the waiting list do not carry over from year to year.  Therefore, if your child previously applied and was placed on the waiting list, you will need to re-apply for the upcoming year.  If you have several children applying, please remember that each child requires their own application.

Apply for the upcoming 2021-2022 school year here:

We are pleased to announce that as of December 1st, 2020 we are now accepting applications for the next school year.  We have joined with other area charter schools for a common application.  Now you can apply to multiple Buffalo charter schools at once!  Here is the new website to apply for the upcoming school year: https://enrollbuffalocharters.schoolmint.net/ .  Our lottery will be held April 13th, 2021 at 4:30pm.

If you have any questions about filling out the application or the application process in general, contact Angelica Gonzalez, Office Manager, at (716) 826-7213, or via email at agonzalez@southbuffalocs.org.
