SBCS is still accepting applications for the current 2019-2020 school year for grades K-8 with immediate availablity in grades 6 and 8.  Please contact the school for immediate placement for these grade levels for this current year (2019-2020) at 716-826-7213 x100.

Online Applications for the 2020-2021 school year are now available by clicking here: https://southbuffalocs.schoolmint.net/.  Once your application is received, you will receive a confirmation email.  Our Lottery will take place on April 8th, 2020 at 5pm in our school auditorium.

Any school-aged child (five years old by December of that year) who is entering Kindergarten through 8th grade is eligable to apply for admission into the school.  Buffalo Public Schools has a Kindergarten requirement that states a child must have a birth year of 2015 in order to register for the 2020-2021.  For all out of BPS school district residents (Lackawanna, West Seneca, etc.) the child must turn 5 by December 1, 2020 as per your home district requirement.

Please remember that students on the waiting list do not carry over from year to year.  Therefore, if your child previously applied and was placed on the waiting list, you will need to re-apply for the lottery for the upcoming year.

If you have several children applying, please remember that each requires his/her own application.

If you have any questions about filling out the application or the application process in general, contact Angelica Gonzalez, Office Manager, at (716) 826-7213, or via email at agonzalez@southbuffalocs.org.
