| Any school-aged child (five years old by December of that year) who is entering Kindergarten through eighth grade is qualified to apply for admission into the school. The South Buffalo Charter School holds a lottery in the spring of each year. Students who have completed and submitted an application by April 1, 2008 will be placed into the lottery drawing. Students are chosen randomly at the lottery for available slots for next fall. After open slots are filled, we continue to draw names for the order on which the names are placed on our waiting list. Any application received after April 1st will be considered received in an untimely manner and will be placed on the waiting list after all lottery submissions for their grade level. If an accepted student declines to accept the offer of admission, the next student on the waiting list is offered admissions enrollment.
There will be an Open House for new families on April 16th at 5pm. The Open House will be followed by our 2008 Lottery at 6pm.
